Pingyi county boasts rich and unique mineral resources.It has so far reported discovery of 21 kind of underground mineral deposit,of which"3 stones and 1 gold" are proved in large reserves.The reserves of granite,gypsum,limestone and gold are respectively 3 billion cubic meters,2.7 billion tons,10 billion tons and 40 tons.In addition,the depostits of barite,quartzite,marble,jade-like stone,asbestos,coal,copper,silver and iorn etc.add to the county"s advantages in natural resources. |
